New from Lani's
For the most part, the antique items at Lani's are everyday objects that are meant to be a part of our lives. We encourage people to use their fine crystal and china, don't just put it on a shelf for special occasions. Use your sterling place settings - the more silver is used, the more beautiful its patina. Put your favorite items out so you can see them, don't pack them away for fear they will get broken or dusty. It is our belief that even young children can be taught to appreciate and be careful of antiques. We welcome them in our shop, and find that most youngsters don't know what a lot of things we have were used for "back in the old days." Things like typewriters, adding machines, and rotary dial telephones.
